That's all for today!
A lot has been going on lately. My husband and I had a great time exploring New Orleans during PubCon a few weeks ago. We walked 19 miles according to my Android pedometer, and then ate/drank back all the calories we had walked off.
Also, I don't think I updated you on Corie's wedding dress saga. Once back in Houston, she visited a couple of boutiques that not only allowed her to know the designers and product numbers of the dresses, they happily allowed her to Skype with me while she was trying on the dresses! And best of all, she did finally find the one she wanted. This particular bridal boutique knew exactly how to "Adapt or Die"! they explained that they gave a discount if you bought the dress on your first visit. Brilliant!
In other news, my son Tim should be home and finished with his sophomore year at Brown any day now. He'll have a month to decompress, then it's off to Chicago for a couple months of a brain research project he'll be working on.
And speaking of Chicago, remember the 1-day seminar I'm holding there on Friday, July 26. I know that seems far off now, but seating really is limited to a max of 15 people, so don't put off registering if you know you want in!
Catch you in 2 weeks! -- Jill
