HRA 293: Wrap-up

November 3, 2010
That's all for today!

Well, I paid for my first Kindle book. I've been happily reading the numerous free Kindle books available at Amazon and elsewhere since I got my Kindle a year or so ago. But this week, I had to buy one because I fell madly in love with the free "teaser" book that was the first in a series! I've come close to doing that previously, but never quite got sucked in. This time, I had no choice. The book was just so good that I didn't want it to end, and since it doesn't have to if I read the rest of the series, I'm stuck! It's totally worth the 7 bucks or so that the next book cost me. (I'm afraid that each one will get progressively more expensive, though...LOL!)

I have to admit, it's a clever marketing scheme. If you publish something for free that is awesome, it will leave people wanting more – even if they have to pay for it. Which has, in a way, been my strategy with this newsletter. I'm happy to provide you with free SEO help twice a month, because many of you are willing to pay for some additional help later on. Win-win!

Oh yeah, and for all you Kindle readers (or anyone), the book that got el cheapo me to make a purchase was "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon.

Or, if you don't have a Kindle, you can purchase the paperback (affiliate link).

You won't regret it! Look for a full review when I get a chance over at My Kindle Reviews site.

Catch you in 2 weeks! – Jill
