I had an interesting trip to Bochum, Germany last week. For the most part, all went well, and the company I was training seemed to really get a lot out of it. The room was abuzz as I talked about the boatloads of SEO myths that are out there. Like many companies, they had bought into many of them. The only snag of the trip was on the way home when the security at Heathrow Airport made it impossible for me to make my connecting flight. Most of the day was spent waiting in various lines for one reason or another, but I did meet some cool guys in my last line, which at least helped pass the time! It’s funny because I rarely (if ever) talk to people in airports or on airplanes, but now that I have, I realize that you can meet some interesting people that way. Yet another good reason to try to get out of your comfort zone once in awhile (which is what Pauline is always telling me!).
