Advisor Wrap-up 208

For those who were worried about me due to Hurricane Flossie, you can put your mind at ease. We're not on the Big Island but on Oahu where things are pretty calm.  I've been lucky enough to see 2 rainbows so far, which has made me pretty happy since I take them as a sign of good luck.  They must be working, as so far things are going well in terms of getting Jamie into her school and dorm here.  She got an 87 on the entrance exam she had to take, so we were pleased with that.  We took a look at her dorm as well (which is off-campus) and it looks really nice.  It's a bus ride away from the college, and it's a bit scary to think of her in the big city and all, but I'm sure she'll be fine once she gets used to it.  It's very cool that she's just down the street from the Waikiki beach.  The funny thing is, she doesn't like sand...(don't ask!).

Anyway, I am not really supposed to be working while here on vacation, so I'll end this now!  See you at SES San Jose next week! - Jill
