High Rankings Announces: Half-day Website Marketing Workshops: April 2 &3, 2009

Framingham, MA – March 2, 2009 - High Rankings is now offering customized website marketing workshops. Each is hands-on in a small classroom setting, and will be held at the High Rankings office in Framingham, Massachusetts just outside of Boston on April 2 & 3, 2009. Website Marketing Workshops include: Keyword Research, SEO Copywriting, Social Media Marketing and Website Analytics.

How to Perform and Use Keyword Research, April 2, 9am-Noon

In this workshop Jill Whalen will teach you how to perform keyword research as well as where your keyword phrases should be placed. She’ll go beyond the basics and include advice on measuring keyword competitiveness and explain how to choose the right keywords for the appropriate pages.

Website Copywriting, April 2, 1-4pm

During this workshop, website copywriting pro, Karon Thackston, will guide you through a proven process for writing website copy that will engage and convert prospects into customers, as well as keep the search engines happy. You will practice and write under Karon’s guidance throughout this website copywriting workshop. You’ll also receive the copywriting planning guide that Karon uses for her clients.

Social Media Marketing, April 3, 9am-noon

In this Web 2.0 workshop, Jill Whalen will provide an overview of the various social media sites and how to use them. You’ll learn how to integrate your social media message across various sites and how to measure your social media success. In addition, you will brainstorm with other social media marketing workshop participants to create a road map you can start implementing right away.

Web Analytics, April 3, 1-4pm

At this workshop, you will learn how to use Google Analytics. From set–up, to tracking your website conversions, Jill Whalen will walk you through the important components of Google Analytics. You will learn what to measure and why and how to use the data to further your search marketing efforts. Jill will also review Google Analytics accounts of workshop participants during this web analytics workshop.

Each workshop is a half day. Lunch will be provided by High Rankings for all participants from noon – 1pm on both days. Workshop participants will also receive the training materials presented at the workshops.
