Twitter Question of the WeekMay 4, 2011 This week I asked my Twitter followers:
++Have you noticed much change in Google's results since Farmer / Panda? That is, less spam?++ Here's how they responded: mattcraine: Nope. Not a bit honestly. ampretus: I've noticed a little less spam but a LOT less relevance :-( Casieg: Unfortunately for our industry, I'm seeing more keyword-based domains showing up despite not being legit businesses. digi_inventive: Not less spam, that's for sure, Jill. JTPotts: Unfortunately I've seen no improvement in my industry. Same madlib spam getting top billing. ETeare: Nope Jill's Response: [Big Sigh] I guess Google still has a long way to go in getting rid of web spam. Want to participate in the Twitter Question of the Week? When I did a Commercial Intent search for my keyword(s), the highest intent came from several keywords with any state after them. No duplicate content, but what's website owner to do?
