It Sure Beats Working

I’m heading out soon to the book party of my friend and fellow newsletter
publisher Michael Katz. You’ve heard me mention Michael a few times through
the years, as the stuff he writes in his email newsletter (which is about writing
e-newsletters) is exactly what I would write if I were writing on that
topic. Michael’s latest book is called “It Sure Beats Working” and it’s
simply “29 quirky stories and business lessons for the first-time, mid-life,
solo professional.” It’s a very quick read, and I found it to be
interesting even though I’m no longer a solo professional. (Perhaps cuz I
