High Rankings Question of the WeekApril 4, 2012 This week I asked my social media followers:
++What (if anything) are you doing to mitigate the loss of KW data due to the dreaded "Not Provided"?++ Here's how they responded: Justweb: Write a simple Analytics hack showing landing pages 4 useless "Not Provided" data. Casieg: I'm using WMT a lot more and checking my PPC search queries more often. Gisele Glosser: What is the dreaded "Not Provided"? Caro Price: Panicking a little :( I really used that info a LOT! Kalena Jordan: Extrapolating based on click and impression data in AdWords generated reports. Not ideal :-( Steven Musumeche: Nothing. What else can we do? Ben Spak: Fill me in if anyone has ideas Google+ Fran Irwin: Begging people not to use Firefox! ;) Aaron Kronis: lolz hoping they had analytics installed last Sept-October or one year ago today! For the time being…as an additional step to other methods that I just can't tell you for free. Frank Zimper: Apart from using the Webmaster Tools data? There's not much we can do I guess.
