qwerty and I are set to come. I'm meeting him at the bus stop in Belmont. He'll have to recognize me, because he's just confided to me that -- gasp -- that's not his picture!

Simple. I'll be the guy who'll be fidgeting around, unsure of what to do with his hands, because the thought of drinking without smoking is utterly absurd to him.

Hey Bob,

Outside the hotel is a flower bed with gorgeous purple flowers. Just put one in your hair and we'll know it's you. Besides it will look great with the jumpsuit. (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's been a great conference. Great crowd. Good questions.

Christine

Hey, these pictures are pretty mild. Now bring out the 'good' ones that tell the real story. I want to see Scottie singing karaoke, Bob with a lampshade on his head, Matt giving us his up and close nose shot ... those kinds of things. (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif)

<Added> Oh, here they are. Now that's more like it!

Here's one account of some of the events out Boston way. Thanks to everyone who was there and made my visit quite enjoyable and memorable.

It's over! Whew! We made it. It's been eventful, but fun. This is the first two-day seminar we've done so it was a little more complex than the others.

Grumpus, you were pointed out to me from across the room at dinner, but nobody told me you dropped by the seminar. I was in the back with Scottie on the laptops during Matt's presentation. (Sorry Matt! (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) )

When Scottie pointed to you at the restaurant, I agreed with the others... you ARE much taller than your avatar. With as crowded as the room was, I never did get a chance to wiggle over to your table and say hello.

Not to mention, I was too busy singing my sad song of laptop woes to Qwerty (now whenever I type that name I laugh), Don1, and Cline. Great buncha guys and they really acted like they cared that my laptop had a heart attack on the way to Boston (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/lol.gif)

Grumpus, you weren't the only smoker. I believe there was one other gentleman outside the restaurant who was lighting up.

Today is play day! Matt and his family, Chris and her family, Scottie, Jill (who of course lives in Boston) and me are all going to some place that starts with an 'F" (that I can never remember the name of) the to walk the Freedom Trail and eat at a restaurant where they insult you. (This, according to Qwerty, Cline and Don1 is supposed to be fun. Uhhhh... yeah, OK.) (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I've got my walking shoes on and I'm ready to go!

As far as I know, everyone (except Jill) is heading out Sunday.

Well, gotta get back to my room and finish getting ready for the day. I'm in the hotel's business center now.

It was a LOT of fun and I really enjoyed meeting everyone!

Karon

Probably Faneuil Hall (aka Quincy Market). Most pronounce it Fanyull, but to old time Boss-townians, its "Fanl".

And I'm a smoker! The main reason I had so little to drink is that it's normal for me to automatically light up a coffin nail when I drink, and I didn't want to get arrested. So I missed my chance to meet Grumpus and commiserate with him about our pariah-ness.

If Scottie is with you there will be no problems—or will there? (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) I'll watch the news.
