Is there a comprehensive list of all the Google commands somewhere? I have found Google's Advanced Operators page but I am looking for something more comprehensive.

For example: Search all inbound links to a page but do not include any of the pages from it's own domain. Is that... link:www.foo.com -site:www.foo.com ??? (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

thanks!

I just found out that command is www.yoursite.com -site:www.yoursite.com but I would still like to know if there is a central list of all the commands.

cheers,
Craig

Nice. Thanks Grumpus!

And here I was thinking "hmmm, wouldn't it be a great idea to create an expert system to do all those interesting searches on Google?"

And someone went and beat me to it.

I was also planning on creating an all-in-one SE spammer report page - I suppose someone beat me there, too - anyone have the link?

Hey Ian,

Here's an idea: why not create an "expert system" that would apply to all of the major engines? G, Y! & ATW have these commands, so why not build a page / sitelet that gives the options for all of them? Youcould even build in the all-in-one spam reporter functionality into it...?

That actually sounds like it might involve <shudder> work at some point (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Actually, it's a pretty good idea - I have a programmer handy, I think I may unlock the basement, dust him off and throw him some work -maybe even some food...

People who have known me for a long time know that I'm always coming up with these great ideas, and then 6 months later someone else is in the market with it (and making money, of course - MY money...grrr)

I think the spam reporter would be a great idea - so naturally I assume someone else will be coming out with it tomorrow. But I'll try anyway (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I've got a bunch of ideas about things like cache comparisions and a feed for antispammers to pull and use, etc.
