Hi all...

Get this...(and oh, my apologies if this has been covered already in another thread...and if you can point me to it, I would appreciate it).

I've got a client with two different URLs, two totally different sites, with unique content, but built very much the same, using Cold Fusion with small ID page tags.

According to Google and it's allinurl: I have one site with roughly 5,000 pages indexed. Neato.

But they've asked me why the heck Site B only has about 35 pages indexed. Well for the moment, I'm stumped.

Seems that there are about the same number of pages, the same amount of content, etc. I've also looked to see if there is a robots.txt blocking access...but don't see one.

Anybody got any ideas?

Your help would be appreciated.

How old/new is site B?

How similar are they?

The exact number of pages? Sounds like they must be very, very similar, and it's possible that site B is only showing up in secondary results.

Okay, I'll give up the URLs with this reply, but I did a search in AllTheWeb and funny, it's got LOTS of pages indexed.

Take a look:

Google - Site A

Google - Site B

AllTheWeb - Site A

AllTheWeb - Site B

So I know it's spider friendly...right? So is it a Google problem with Site A?
