Bing announced that Bing UK is out of BETA and will be more focused on returning UK results for UK searchers......apparently!
I did a study yesterday and the example they provided (Football) still returns the NFL - something they said that the UK 'wouldn't be interested in'. The universal search results are even worse with US today results of 'American Football' being returned (and two images of an American Football). I like the US but lets face it, there is only one beautiful game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink1.gif) |

Well I've still got the problem that because I have gTLD and host in USA , Bing won't show me for UK searches!
I've also noticed since their updates, my top positions in Bing have vanished, while my G! rankings are improving. You are certainly right, doesn't look like Bing UK has any UK inteligence, I just did a simple search for the word 'analyse' , and the no.1 result returned was spelt with a 'z' , looks like Bing has a long, long way to go yet eh Andy! |
