I am facing a strange problem. I have no idea why this is happening, the problem is that, if someone types a keyword with typo, my site appears on top page of google, but if the keyword with correct spelling is entered, my website is nowhere. Any idea?

Do you have the typo in the content of your pages? (Do a search using
CODE
site:yourdomain.com "typo"

to find out).

Are there pages linking to your site using the typo in the anchor text?

Sorry for the confusion, from typo I mean typographical error like if someone types the keyword with spelling mistake for e.g. if my keyword is "car insurance", and if some one types it wrongly as "car insurnce" then it shows up in top page and if it is typed correctly as "car insurance" then it is not showing. Also I checked it with site:mydomain.com "keyword" but that mis spelled word is not showing up.

Than it's probably the case the the page has other pages linking to it using the typo "car insurnce". As this keyword would have low competition it is easy to get a high ranking.

Yes that is possible, in this case I have to check the back links, though till now I have only 55 backlinks, this point cannot be ignored.

As for why your site shows up with one and not the other, I would assume the non-typo version is a considerably more competitive phrase than they typo version.

Randy, here the typo version is having more competition compared to non typo.

Not to cast doubt on your ability to determine how competitive the market may be for a given phrase, but I have never in all my years of doing this stuff seen a typo that is more competitive than the real phrase. Ever.

Yes you are right. WHat I want to find out is the reason why google is ranking the site for the keyword with wrong spelling, I checked back links and internal pages but not found any spelling errors.
