I logged into my AdWords account and since yesterday it seems someone hacked it and setup some campaigns. The links the campaigns point to redirect to business.com, orbitz.com and a few other popular websites, but before they redirect to those sites a remotedesktop activex download tries to install and I think does on vulnerable computers.
Keep an eye on your AdWords accounts, just in case this is widespread! |

That's weird. Have you informed Google? I bet they can help figure out who hacked in.

That's weird. Have you informed Google? I bet they can help figure out who hacked in. Yes, I spoke with someone over the phone. I don't know if they'll figure it out who did it and how. It seems whoever set this up is sending people through AdWords ads to links that redirect to popular ecommerce and business sites. During the redirect an activex component tries to install remote desktop of all things. Just keep an eye on your accounts guys. This post has been edited by GregOne: Apr 24 2007, 01:52 PM |
