Hi Scottie,

Have not been around much lately, but am hoping to spend more time here. Was up in your town earlier today for a bit of Christmas cheer.

Hi Steve-
You found Christmas cheer in Columbia? Good for you! Actually, there is some neat holiday stuff around. We were supposed to go out and see the Christmas Lights at the Zoo tonight but went to see the Cat in the Hat instead. (I definitely recommend the Zoo lights if you get back up this way before New Years- they go all out with the displays.)

We are headed out at the end of the week to the coast, but a little north of you to Myrtle Beach. We've got a donated time share to use before the end of the year. (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup1.gif)

It was cute! No big laugh-out-loud moments and lots of little things the kids won't get (or better not get!) but overall, it was better than many kids movies I've seen this year. (And I've seen 'em all... (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

If you like Mike Myers, you'll like it. Full of disgusting stuff- Alec Baldwin picking his belly button and belching, purple goo everywhere, you've probably seen the hairball, etc.

Scottie, you could venture down here to Hilton Head Island and still be in SC, but it's too cold to go to the beach anyway.

I like your Christmas picture.

Have a good Christmas.

Hi Jerry!

Steve is in Hilton Head too! I looked for a resort to swap in Hilton Head, but the only one I could find didn't have an indoor pool. The one we are going to in MB does! And a kitchen. With 3 anklebiters to entertain, we opted for MB this time.

Thanks on the Christmas picture! Where's yours...? (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/mf_rudolph.gif)

Hey Scottie,

Yes it is strange, but there are not many indoor pools on the Island. There are however, many heated pools. If you were trading timeshare some of them do have heated pool, but not many. You will make it here one day soon. It is never too cold to walk on the beach

Missed the Zoo, but not Carolina whipping NC State.

Hey Jerry,

One day we will have to do Starbucks or Java Joes

Now THAT was some holiday cheer! I had tickets to that game (my brother-in-law is the Video Coach for USC Athletics- so they were freebies) but ended up having relatives in town and didn't go.

We have quite a few South Carolinians on the board, now that I think of it- me, Karon, you two, LeftBrain, and we'll include Torka cause she's from SC although living in NC now. Kind of impressive when you realize SC isn't considered to be very high on the technology food chain! :tooth:

Scottie,

I'm headed out of town tomorrow morning. I will post a picture (with my cowboy hat on) after the first of the year when I return.

Enjoy your time in Myrtle Beach.

Steve,

Java Joe's or Starbucks either one sounds good to me. I am in the Shelter Cove Harbor area halfway between the two. Let's get together the first of January.

I have a Hilton Head Island site also (www.Hilton-Head-Island.org) that Google has sent to never-never land (even before the Florida dance). I don't do anything with it and I don't sell anything on it, so it doesn't matter.

The site just has general information and links to things in Hilton Head. Your site looks interesting. We have a lot to talk about.

Gollllee Scottie u is sow rite bout dat. Sumtimes wen I ax folks bot der website, day still tink Ime tawken bout da place bitween da oaks wear da banana spidar spins hiz home.

But, slowly things are changing. Education wise: SC is now ahead of Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansaw. We'll get back to the top one day.

Jerry---sounds great. I am in HHP and have an office near the SP circle, so any place that is good for you is good for me. Look forward to seeing you. Have a great Christmas!
