Check out Snap.com's new search interface. Pretty cool- it shows you related searches and search counts as you type.

What a great tool. Thanks for the heads up.
Now to figure out if it is giving quality information is another story. |

Can't have everything in life... a quick run through the "about us" doesn't disclose whose database it is using. But as always, you can't count on the numbers anyway... it does give you a quick rundown of related terms.

Agreed.
I like the way the tool works, but from what I've seen the database is limited compared to doing the same search on Overture or Wordtracker. But like Overture it's free and you get what you pay for. |

Snap is a neat concept in searching if you read how it works, but it will take time to hit a critical mass before the algorithm it's using to calculate rank is useful since it is based on visitors and visitor behaviour.

The relaunched Snap is pretty new, if it gains any kind of popularity it will be a great data source.

Its very helpful for finding the exact phrases people are searching on. I'm in computer networking and i have words that can be combined into over 100 phrases, so this is huge for pinpointing the popular ones. narrowing-on-the-go is amazing. yay for new features.

QUOTE(Vrindavan @ Apr 23 2005, 11:45 AM) I actually like this one, because you can see them all listed on the side. (IMG:http://www.highrankings.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Nice. I like the visible list of choices. A bit slower than google suggest, though.
