Good morning eveyone. drunk.gif

I was wondering if anyone in here has ever discussed shopping cart drop out rates, and how to improve them. I'm looking for some creative ways to retain people to the finish, as they make it to the purchasing process.

Things i've done so far inside the shopping cart..

1) List toll free # to call if necessary
2) add links to price guarantee page, privacy policy

and that's where my creativity has been blocked. 2 ideas is pretty pathetic. But since i've added the 800#, phone sales have doubled. So progress has been made, i think.

Do any of you use any other methods?

-Ryan

Hi Ryan,

That's great that you've seens nice a big boost out of such a small change in your cart. A great resource for information on conversion rates is grokdotcom.com.

One couple other ones that comes to mind is to provide shipping totals early in the process. Also, don't require registration to make a purchase.
