Tomorrow SEMPO launches the most comprehensive study to date on the search engine marketing industry and we want you to be the first to know. More importantly we want you to take the survey and tell all your clients, business associates and vendors to take the survey as well. The results of this survey will define the industry we work in and increase the awareness of our industry in the larger world of marketing.

All members are encouraged to complete the survey - no matter where your company is located. The first set of reports derived from the results of the survey will cover the North American market. Data collected from around the world will be used to define additional SEMPO research projects.

Help us get as many people as possible to fill out this survey. Spread the word about the survey so SEMPO can spread the word about SEM!

Hmm, looking forward to those results. Best thing I have seen come from SEMPO - good thing I had a cup (or two) of coffee for this one.

I would be interested in knowing what others think about their membership fee structure and the benefits you have received or intend to. It's always great to be affiliated with like minds/types, but to any benefit?

Yeah I too am looking forward to those results. Definitely seems like the type of larger scale survey I would be looking for from them.

To date I'm not currently a SEMPO member. I have been reading up a bit about the organization and trying to gather both objective and subject takes on what they do and what value they provide to member companies.

Can anyone give me other examples of deliverable they provide aside from this survey and of course what's on their site? (maybe more of a subjective or high level view)

I just took the survey. In case anyone's considering taking it as well, it took me about 20 minutes to fill it out. How you answer some of the questions will impact your time. For example, some questions will branch off into more indepth questions if you show that you have experience in a particular area of SEM. Just fyi.

I have tried three times to complete that survey, and always run into something that takes me away from it. They should build it in parts, so we don't have to find a full 20 minutes to do it.
