Can any body put my mind at rest, I'm a bit confused :manybounce:

I've just been to google and done a search for one of my sites and looked at the results page. I always copy the url from the results page and paste it into the search box so that I can do searches for other pages on my site.

Today when I copied the link and pasted it in the box, it look like this

http:// www.google.com/url?sa=U&start=1&q=http://www.the-doamin.co.uk/&e=747

I'm I losing it or is this something new?

They seem to use tracking URLs every now and then for different people.

I occasionally see tracking URLs also, but when I see them, other people don't see them. I'm guessing it's a geographical thing, perhaps?

Thanks Jill,

Could this be worth keeping an eye on, though, as it seems so be on every link for a bunch of test keywords I've tried on google.com but not google.co.uk?

Or do you mean that they track individual searchers now and again via IP?
