Froogle

I got my data feed going out to froogle about 2 months ago. I am interested in learning if anybody else has tried to use froogle.
My experience is that it really doesn't shoot more than a couple of click throughs to my site per week, and I havn't seen any conversions from the traffic.
Has anybody had any luck with the service. Ofcourse it is free, so maybe I shouldn't complain, but perhaps I am doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Sdavis

A few tips: Make sure your products are competitively priced, avoid abbreviations unless they're industry standards, and keep your feed up to date and accurate.

It seems the people that know about it the most are other webmasters / site owners. Eventually it will get there

We used to be listed in the top three for just about every product we had but now sites have shifted and we can't be found anymore for our more popular products.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the theory is behind how froogle lists the products there? What does it take into consideration when it decides who goes to the top of the listings? I know price is one of them (tho we are less expensive than 2 out of the three for one particular product).
How much info do you put into the description and how key word heavy is it? Do you put the full text of your webpage into the description? Only small parts of it?
Any thoughts would be apprecaited it

Also, Froogle has started syndicating merchant ratings into the service. I don't know if they're taking the ratings into consideration for rankings, but it might be worth checking out.

It could be the page rank, though it appears that if that is the case, it is the page rank of the main page of the site ( www.website.com ) and not the product page.
The merchant ratings could also play a role too as the new two top listings have the numerical review listings ( 3.8 / 5 ) I would have hoped that our kick ass BizRate ratings would have given us a boost, but it appears that is not the case. (Though it might have before
Man, I wish I could figure out how it works, though it is Froogle beta, what I learn today might not be what's the case tomorrow!
Thanks for the feedback!

products provided by a feed are actually ranked higher than those that are naturally spidered.
I would highly recommend allowing Froogle to decide on a title and Description for itself, it seems to work much better this way.
Froogle is going to be free for a little while as they test it out but I imagine they will start charging somewhere down the line, it would be crazy not too.

I have too little data (short span of time) to be sure if this is going to be totally awesome, but it is generating "some" sales. This is a great thing considering it's free! As far as click-throughs they are lower than what I expected but there are dozens of factors to consider. We are just getting started but I'll give anything a big thumbs up if it's free and can possibly help my client.

To be honest because you can not disable adwords on Froogle, I'm not sure how much traffic is Adwords on google and Froogle.
Not sure if webtrends knows the difference. I have set up a code for Froogle sales so at least I know how many orders I'm getting, which up to know has been very, very slow. Disappointing even if it is free.

Anyone else have any comparisons of conversion rates between Froogle and other shopping engines?

Do you mean send a feed but leave the titles and descriptions blank? What works better about this? You see higher rankings this way?
