Hello to everyone out there in PPC Land

I'm a new member to this forum and am quite pleased to say that it seems as though I've come to right place for progressive knowledgeable discussions about the PPC market.

we have recently released our own PPC (as of Sept 03) and are blessed to be able to say that we are also currently moving 3 and a half million searches through our network a day.

How ever being in our infantile stages constructive criticism is a must if any of you could spare a few moments to give some feedback as to what you may be some useful info it would be greatly appreciated. Our url is. www.genieknows.com

Best Regards and Thank-You very much

JT Manning

PS: if anyone is going to be in the coming search engine conference in Chicago I look forward to meeting them

Welcome, unifiedtrump! :naughty:

For a Website critique, you'll need to go to our Web site review category.

I have a question for you, however, how have you been able to obtain over 3 million searches a day to a search engine that is brand new? Who is searching there and how do they even know you exist?

One thing I never quite understand with these PPC type of engines is why people would search there when they can search at Google or another major engine and know that they are finding everything they need? Perhaps you can enlighten me on this!

As posted in our About Us Section on our homepage we have actually been around since 1999 as a meta-crawler I have a quote from our About Us section which I hope will help.

Since its Incorporation in 1999, IT Interactive Services' (GenieKnows.com's parent company) mission has been to provide users with relevant, fast and concise search results presented in an easy to understand manner.

The GenieKnows.com meta-crawler was launched in November of 1999, bringing users the benefit of 24 separate search feeds in one search engine.

As we enter into an exciting new era in online marketing, GenieKnows.com and it’s network of partners look to continue providing quality products and solutions. IT Interactive Services remains a privately held Canadian Incorporation.

As you can see. We have been around for quite some time. The only new thing is the addition of the PPC facet. The majority of our searches our made through our downstream distribution network of search engines. I hope that helps.

I am going to move my post to the appropriate section thank-you for informing me

Best Regards,

UnifiedTrump

Hi JT,
one of the biggest complaints I've been hearing regarding PPC advertising is the lack of control over syndication of ads to "downstream partners." For example, even huge players in PPC are syndicating and charging for traffic that is nowhere near as valuable as an the same ad appearing on a search engine results page. Parked domains come to mind.

Do you have any thoughts on how PPC companies might evolve on this issue?

Also, what's are some example downstream partners for your PPC program?
