Hi
I'm trying to get a handle on Lycos.co.uk - does anyone have any experience of using this directory for paid placement and what type of CTR you got for a top placed ad?
I know this is a bit "how long is a piece of string" but I'm just trying to get an understanding of the lycos user-base - do they pay any attention to sponsored listings or not?
The listing will be promoting a B2B internet service, not B2C retail or on-line purchase.
Thanks,
Simon

Just looked at the logs for one site. Lycos UK accounted for 0.15% of search engine referrals. This includes Overture listings.

I hold position number 2 for a very competitive keyword, I can honestly say Lycos UK brings no traffic at all.................ever !
