Is it possible to find out ‘all the sites listed on an IP address?’ I am sure there's one utility which I came across some time ago, but I don't remember it at this moment.

Hello Farhan,

If nobody comes back with any answers to this within a couple of days, PM me, I've got a few ideas. One of these is to create a spider in PHP that can suss it out. I written a spider before but not one for this job so I don't know if it can be done... Any body else have any ideas?

Name Intelligence WHOIS Source search provides that information. Creating an account is required, but I've not been inconvinienced in any way by having done so.

They also have a handy toolbar button for web browser so you can do lookups as you surf. It's described under the Webmaster Information page, first section.

Yeah Air-dog, it's a little different than an usual installation. It's not really a toolbar itself but lies in your Links toolbar for IE, a link set up as a javascript which redirects you to the appropriate whois info page.

Anyway:

In you Internet explorer make sure your Links: toolbar is visible by clicking on View, then Toolbars, then checking the Links option. Clear out any garbage and make sure there's a nice visible blank spot on it.

On this page, http://www.whois.sc/info/webmasters/, under the first question, "How do I enable my browser to do whois look up while on another site?", click and drag the hyperlink named "Whois" up to that blank spot on your Links: toolbar. Windows may ask you a question if you really want to do this because of security settings.

Voila.. now when your on a site, just click that new button and it should redirect you to a WHOIS page with all the extra information.
