High Rankings Seminar And Cookout
Posted 24 August 2004 - 10:33 AM
Jill's High Rankings® Seminar returns to Boston. Close enough for Jill to host a cookout for all of us!
No, I'm kidding. Jill doesn't cook and we would be frightened to ask her to try. She could heat up some frozen dinners for us all, if she really cared.
But back to the seminar, we are expanding it to 2 days this time, including hands-on workshops and more detailed info as past participants have asked for. It should be great info and why not make it a weekend in Boston? The fall weather should be beautiful.
The usual suspects will be present:
Jill Whalen- SEO
Debra O'Neill Mastaler- Link Building
Karon Thackston- Copywriting
Christine Churchill- PPC
Matt Bailey- Tracking and ROI
Scottie Claiborne- Usability/Marketing
Lots of fun and lots of learning

I do too cook. But not for more than one or two at a time. But that's not the reason I'm not hosting a cookout. It's more that I'd have to actually CLEAN. Now that I really don't do.
That said, we DO have a wonderful dinner planned!
The good folks at John Harvard's Brewhouse will be hosting us on Thursday night. And in fact, you don't even have to be a seminar participant to join us. So even if you can't come to the seminar (or you're just too darn cheap) please think about joining us for dinner and fresh brewed beer!
I believe you can sign up for just the dinner through our online registration form (but I'm not positive...try it and see!).
Of course, we'd prefer you actually came to the seminar, as we've still got lots of seats to fill up, so please do consider that. This is your chance to meet some of the key players in of the High Rankings forum. Plus, you should also get to meet some of the folks from my new company, Search Creative, LLC.
Oh yeah, and you'll learn everything you need to know to make your site the best it can be for the search engines and your users...duh...how could I forget that part... :slap:
See you in Sept.!

So it's small enough to get personal attention. They're definitley not conferences. It's a seminar. In this case with the 2 days, it's seminars and workshops.

Email or pm me at some point when you know the details. (The train is nowhere near the mall. Actually, you may even be closer at the Natick stop, but I'd have to think about that...it's close either way with a car!)

Qwerty, if you'd like to carpool I could pick you up in Belmont. There's a bus from Harvard Square to here. It's also on the Fitchburg commuter rail line.

I think it is $40 for non-seminar attendees. We don't need much advance notice on the number who will be there, but it will help to have everything paid for in advance. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about that!
