Got a question about the seminar--do I need my laptop? If I don't need to lug it around, it'd be great. Then again, that just shows my laziness.....oh well.

Linda, I haven't been to one of Jill's shin digs before, but I have been a subscriber to her newletter for a while and I've seen her posts here and she's not one for big time techie talk (say THAT 5 times fast!). You might surprise yourself by knowing more than you think you do! Besides, what can it hurt? If you walk away with just 1 thing you didn't know before, you are ahead of the game!

Try to attend! It'll be worth it, I am sure of that!

No, you don't need your laptop. We'll have a book for each attendee that has all the info in it. You might just want to take a note or two (with a pen and paper) but the book should be very complete.

The owner of the company has decided to send two of us to the Seminar!!!

My manager (Cameron Miller) and I are probably going to drive up Thurs evening and will want to stay Thurs night at the hotel.

Is anybody looking for a roommate? Because I'm a goofy, non-smoking female looking for a roommate that doesn't snore too loudly to share a room with Thurs night before the seminar. Interested parties please email me at kathryn@webcast1.com.

Also, Cameron's looking for a guy roommate. His email address is cameron@webcast1.com.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Okay a book, in case I miss something, that's a good selling point. Now since its noon and I haven't started my real job yet, I had better get busy to make the extra bucks so I can attend. Linda

I think the thread might be working, here! If I'm not mistaken, that makes 2 more sign ups with a possible third!

Who's gonna be next? :D

Karon, let us not forget 1 night away from our precious, darling children. I love them dearly, but Mommy needs a break!

Hey, Hey Everybody! I've just found a real deal on airline flights for those of us leaving from Columbia. Bill... are you listening?

Just on a whim, I typed in the dates Nov. 6 - Nov. 9 (instead of 8th). I'd heard that a Saturday night stay was worth a lot in the airline business. I was right!!

That extra night's stay cut the airfare by almost HALF! Expedia.com and Orbitz.com both had flights leaving from Columbia, SC to Tampa, FL for $225 or so!!

If you don't mind "toughing it out" in Tampa for one more night, you'll save about $250. Even with adding the price of the room for one more night.

This might also be worth a try for everyone else coming to Tampa. Stay the whole weekend and save a ton :censored:

Whoo Hoo!

Good Morning, Karon!

I just saw this as I was settling in at work, and I am definitely listening. I don't know, though. An extra day in Tampa with nothing to do? Does anyone know of anything that would keep me occupied? :censored:

Kudos, Karon - you're a gem.

Yeah, really! What a chore, huh? Geezz... "stuck" in Tampa, near the beach and the 5 star restaurants and the shopping and all. I don't know if I can handle it, but I'll try! :censored:

Great job Karon!

Now I just have to convince my husband that I'm not just avoiding household duties by staying another day... :censored:

Well, as your appointed tourguide  , I can offer a few suggestions as to how to spend some extra time.

Busch Gardens is really a great park. They have some neat shows, too (iceskating shows in Florida--who knew?)

Kennedy Space Center is a big draw, too. I don't know how many of y'all plan on renting a car, but there are usually shuttle services offered through many of the hotels.

Ybor City is just a few minutes from the airport in Tampa. It used to be really run down and kinda scary, so the Tampa Coucil decided to clean it up and now it's a bunch of bars, restaraunts and stuff. I myself haven't been down there in a few years, but it sure was fun when I did! :censored:

I KNOW I don't have to tell all y'all about the stuff here in Orlando. We've got the Mouse, Universal, Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld.

There's plenty to do! Shoot, for the less adventurous, just stay in the hotel lounge!

Hope this helps with an itinerary. Like I said, I'd be happy to give anyone some ideas coming this way. Just let me know!

You want me to write a note to your husband for you, Scottie? Sort of like a doctor's excuse?

Dear Sir,

Due to financial conservation, it is required that Scottie remain in Tampa, Florida through the night of November 8, 2003. The conversation of funds in these economic times has become a serious and sought-after pursuit of both High Rankings.com and Fearless Media.

Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Karon, Finder of the Deal

 :bouncy: :manybounce: :propeller:

Oooo! Great itenerary! I'm liking this extra night thing more and more!
