Better watch out. What if Google gives us a "search the U.S. only" button just like you all have? <grin>

That would be bad, how?
I rather liked the way Google (seemed to) introduce the country-specific domains:
1. They redirected all the appropriate searchers (I assume by matching IP address against location) to the new site.
2. They included a link to get back to the main google.
3. The search is not by default country-specific, but an option.
The above had a couple of wrinkles that needed ironing out IIRC, but I expect they have add-a-new-country down to a fine art now

Oh boy, I can feel a long one coming on.
Let's see how succinct I can be.
Im sorry randy. I asked you that, because im not english native, so that's why I couldn't get the meaning you were giving to the sentence.
Now I get it.
Oh, by the way, im at home now, but my local domains sites, have been seriously crawled during the weekend (it's not the one I have on my profile if you ask)
Let's say I have a 10% more of indexed pages today, than on Friday. And it's still going up!
Let's see what happens with the 301 redirect.

My point was just a thought regarding marketing, not a smart remark.
The U.S. is a big market, one that that companies from many countries like to compete in. If U.S. searchers have an option to search U.S.-only sites, whether by .us or IP address, that makes entry into the U.S. all the more difficult to achieve.
