It's funny, I read through this thread and laugh. What is the mention of these forums doing on TP's FAQ? "Oh, it's just our competitors trashing us"

I have absolutely no issue being a part of this forum full of other ethical professionals discussing, teaching, learning, and debating the merits of our industry and those involved.

TP happened to make headlines in our industry, we all have concerns about that, especially when they are negative headlines. I would be afraid if we didn't have threads "discussing" the impact, the tactics, and activities of such a company.

If you read on:

Seriously even if a shred of that were remotely true, who has the time to discredit competitors? Why & how would anyone spend so much time doing that?

It looks to me like they're grasping at straws here. I feel proud that we're on that list, it means that we've made a dent. Plus, if its in the FAQ's, perhaps some potential clients have asked about things they've read about TP on this forum. Mission accomplished.

TP is threatened by anyone exposing what they are all about. They understand the power and reach that forums like this and others have. Therefore their only defense is to try to discredit them but in doing so, they only discredit themselves.

someone on that list should sue the piss out of them. I mean, they state that people here are lying about them, not as opinion, but as fact. DANGEROUS territory, since to not lose a libel suit, they have to prove that you did indeed lie.
