Wasn't sure were to put this so I thought here would be good.
I have just started do SEO for a company, one of those cases where I am looking after everything that could fall into the Online arena. I am finding that I am really enjoying it.
I plan to continue learning stuff on my own, but would like to consider getting a job in an SEO company to learn how it is done by the professionals. Can anyone recommend any London, or South East England, UK companies that are good.
I am looking for some myself but am aware that there are a lot of less than honest companies out there and I don't really want to work for them, hence I am asking you guys who make your bread and butter from this for help?

No problems, I couldn't figure out where to put it either. Oh and Happy Birthday for the 4th.

I wouldn't recommend SEMPO as a place to find 'good' SEOs as they pretty much list anyone who pays. There is no screening process and I know for a fact that there are some spammers in there.
There's the Sempo directory, worth a visit (and not only the directory).
If we are talking directories, SEO Pros would be a better place to look as they do screen who is listed in their directory.

The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) was formed to help spread the good news about search engine marketing (SEM).
They exist to spread the 'gospel' if you will of SEM, not to regulate the industry.
So that is all fine and dandy but IMO, I think people like Danny Sullivan, Andy Beal and even our own Jill Whalen are doing a fine job of spreading the news about SEM. That is not to say SEMPO is bad but just that one shouldn't automatically assume all of their members are reputable SEOs and SEMs because it is not SEMPOs job to scrutinize that.

I kind of hope they try, just to see what SEMPO does. I might even sign up as TP just to test it!
