I was looking at the backlinks for a particular site on Google and at the bottom of the SERP list saw the following message:
In response to a complaint we received under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 1 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint for these removed results.
I'm not sure I understand the full implications of this, nor whether this message is now attached to the indexed and removed web page, whenever it comes up in a search.
Is there anyone who can give me a short explanation of what is happening here?
