Hi,
I know this is probably a crazy question but I am trying to research keywords at Word Tracker but the problem is I cannot seem to figure what is the best term to even start with.
We sell software, and offer multi user licenses so I would like to optimize for that term in conjunction with the software name. But what is the most common term people would even use to search for Mutiple Licenses of software.
Corporate Licensing, Multi User Licenses, What others could there be? On my search at Word Tracker the results are super low for this but it should have some searches. Maybe I am choosing the wrong keyword to search. Is there a major term I am missing?
Any suggestions welcome!

What about running a Wordtracker report on something more generic like "Software License" and see what pops up?

Are you using the "project" mode at WordTracker where they offer up hundreds of suggested words that might related? That's exactly what that mode is for and I've found it really helpful to get some words you may never have thought of.

Are you using the free version of Wordtracker or the paid for version? The paid for version will give you MANY more suggestions, some involve lateral thinking (I sometimes think that Wordtracker can think, it's so clever :-)
Don't get hooked up on a low volume word, which might be 'licensing' in your case. What about 'multiuser software'? Don't forget the variation 'multi-user'.
Try brainstorming & lateral thinking. For instance, Adobe & Microsoft are good at multi-user licensing so look at their websites to see what keywords they use to push it.

If you're really stumped, why not go look at the Source code for your competitors' home pages. You may find they have included a keyword meta tag, even though most feel it doesn't help. I've found some interesting and unexpected keyword phrases that way. You can then check out variations around them with the Digital Point keyword tool.
