I didn't find out about the last one in London until it was too late to do anything about it.

I'll be having a website basics seminar in Orlando in November that will cover SEO but is aimed more at DIY small biz webmasters.

hmm...I'm pitching SES San Jose to the boss, at least for a couple of us.Jill's next High Rankings® Seminar is scheduled for September in Boston but the exact details aren't finalized yet.

The other two are interesting as well (and closer!) though not sure how much we'd get from the small biz DIY conference. (other than the obvious warm fuzzy I get from gracing people with my presence, that is!

I'm sure that says something about the SEO community, but am less sure what. Either SEOers are so hard-core they'll willing brave the elements, or the industry is still too young to support a "peak season" conference. Sadly, the first rationalization doesn't apply to me. I'm holding out for Maui in June or maybe Vegas in February.

It's actually something Lee and I are working on to target the IAPPA convention-goers but the information will be applicable to any web business.
It's going to be basic usability/marketing info- this is not a seminar for web professionals. It's also not about how to build a website but it is about how to effectively market your site.
As we get the details done and registration ready, I'll be promoting it in my newsletter.
