I have been advised that there are tools that one can use to find your ranking on google. Has anyone here used such tools and could you recommend any?

I'm referring to SERP's? I think.

I actually did a search in the forum earlier and found what I was looking for.

But what does PR mean?

I wanted to know how to get information about rank checking software to see where my page listing is ranked on google. Sop I think that's SERP, right?

After checking my rankings it appears that my rank is not within the first 1000 sites, eeek

Yet when I search Google.br, fr, de, china etc etc my page is still ranked 7th when I run a search from their relevent home pages and they are all cached with the most recent page. Google.co.uk & .com I still have no ranking for, any ideas why?

This has happening right from the start of Gladys. couple of european google domains, pakistan and couple of other domains are still showing some sites that were there in the place before Gladys, Still those domains are showing Pre Gladys results probably google is just testing their results with different versions,
Google rankings.com uses results from datacentres that serves .com results, So you see a Major difference, even we got some phrases of clients hammered in .com but showing up in .fr, .it etc ,

The results for my website on the above for the MSN search were unlisted in the top 100, yet my site appears in 3rd position on MSN search first page. It also states that my site is non listed on Inktomi, yet I hold 5th place on ask.com.

Could this tool just be a ploy to make you click on the links for paid web site submissions?

Mike has just put a tool out there, it is in beta. It will allow you to check your rankings on Google......you have to get a api of course, but it will allow you to check up to 5 sites at a time with up to 25 keyword phrases each.

Here, we use it on all the search engines, but for now it is still in beta and he only put Google out there.....we would love input.

What you like, don't like, any problems ect.....

We have several different tools on our site, as they do different things.

Mike would seriously appreciate any input he can get. =) Keep in mind it is in BETA and every bit of commentary is USEFUL....so send us any comments that can help this tool improve, please. =)

I checked out the first two, as I have already run a test on Googleranking and that was zilcho.

Now on the nest test for www. www2 and 3 +.co.uk, surprise surprise I am listed somehwere in the annuls. Amazing how they have a page from three days ago (photo's updated since) yet the viewing figures are correct and up to date.
