i recently designed a website for a client(&friend) advertising his condo in florida (www.sanibel-view.co.uk) - as this is the first properly competitive website i have done i decided to attempt to optimise it for him (and what an area to start optimizing on !!)
over the last couple of months i had a blitz on learning what i could about SEO.
now the site went up around the 23 of March - and was indexed that same night by google's, 64.--.--.-- bot ( this comes almost every day now) - i started a "link campaign" about 4 weeks ago and have several reciprocal links (about 20 which had been reciprocated at last count) - with maybe only 4 or so over PR4. -
the site currently still has a white PR bar -
i (think i) understand that googlebots other bot with the 209.--.-- ip address is the bot i need to index me if i am to have a pr rating and be listed in google "for good"
can anyone give me some advice as to why i still have this white bar - and any techniques i can do to help googlebot 209 to index my site?
thank you for any answers in advance!
