Hi,
I noticed in a thread from yesturday that there are only three relative search engines around today. Google, Yahoo and Teoma. Are these the only three I should submit my site too? How do I submit to Yahoo without paying for it through Yahoo!Express? Also what about MSN? Are they no longer relevant? I though they were starting their own robot program? Could someone explain the relationships to me, I am so confused I think I am going to go crazy! :)

MSN will start using its own index one of these days, but I don't know when. They are spidering on their own, using MSNbot, so an index is being built; it just isn't available to the public yet.

You don't need to submit to any of the search engines. They'll find you by following links from other sites, so what you need to do is get some links from pages that are in the SEs' indexes.

Great, If I understand correctly, how I do that is type in a search in google for "telecommunications links" and than request a link to the pages that are listed there. Correct?

There are lots of ways to get links. What you've mentioned is certainly one of them. Spend some time reading up in the Link Building section of the forum. We don't all agree on everything in here, but you're bound to learn a lot.

Welcome Blelisa! :aloha:

You probably want to check out our information about Link Building.

More specifically, read the Link Building Articles first.
