I have just been looking at my competition's site and one of them uses a meta tag that I've never seen before - META NAME="REVISIT-AFTER" CONTENT="15 days"
I've looked it up and apparently it tells the spiders how long before they should re-visit the site. Is this useful? Do they actually do as instructed? and is it likely to do more harm than good? I've never heard Jill talk about it either which is why I'm suspicious.
Also, I've recently seen a site that put keywords into comments tags inide the <html> tags but before the <head> tag - is this any use, is it spamming or does it have no effect at all?
