I would like to ask here, which tool would you experts advice me to use or buy for SEO.

I am currently working with (demos):

IBP (Internet Business Promoter)

WebCeo

and the online tool:

SEO Doctor

I ask here, while I met a lot of contradictions!

I am mainly concerned for Google.

Thanks in advance for your kind support!

There's no tool that can do SEO for you, imo.

I have to agree with Jill wholeheartedly on this.

While there are many tools & resources that can help you with your SEO efforts, the most important & powerful tool at your disposal is the one between your ears.

Absolutely - no tool can do it for you!

Something like wordtracker (www.wordtracker.com) can help with your keyword suggestions, webposition gold (www.web-positiongold.com/) can help you monitor your site(s), and something like ClickTracks (www.clicktracks.com) can report on your visitor behaviour, but all of that doesn't count too much without alot of work and input from a manual SEO stand-point!

They don't seem to be be very forthcoming with what they actually do - they synchronise meta-tags, provide some sort of linking system and add what sounds like ALT tags for you.

It does all depend what they actually do.

I am a fan of link analysis software (optilink or linktree), keyword research software (wordtracker), keyword list generators (related pages has a cool one), and conversion tracking / traffic monitoring software (clicktracks and stuff like that).

general all purpose seo software is generally a waste of time money and or effort in my opinion

Hi
Here's the problem I'd like you to help me with.
I'm going to buy a content management system that contains some functionality that will help me with my seo efforts. What features it should have to be the most helpful and effective?
Thanx

Suppose, a hypotetical CMS has the following list of features:

- Simple template coding (HTML-based with custom tags).
- Automatically created site map (when the new page is approved, it is added to a site map page which can be Javascript-based or static, depending on a webmaster's choice).
- The same for mini site map custom tag (can be placed at the bottom of every page).
- Configurable URLs (without ?, & and the rest, php or html extention).
- Built-in for broken link and broken image checker with a sheduler option.
- Built-in reciprocal link checker.
- Keyword density calculator with an optional keyword highlighting feature (like the one available at Google toolbar).

Will it be enough to be called an SEO friendly tool?

What else you would add to the list?

And...

Does anyone know about any product that includes these features?

Thanks in advance!

Ranks.nl and Msn toolbar if u also like that for keyword highlighting.
Actually you can use Ranks.nl and googletoobar for that purpose together as well.

I belive ranks.nl has been standing good for a long time now.
