Everytime I search (whether on Google, MSN etc) whatever I search for lists 2 sites in either second or or third place. One is a free virus scan site and the other 2020 search.com This has been going on for the past few days if not longer.

Anyone know what's going on?

You have a piece of spyware on your system.

Download AdAware and/or SpyBot S&D and remove it. If you can't connect to those pieces of software to either download them or update them then it's because your spyware is blocking it (some of the new ones do this)

In this case, get a friend to download the software and the latest update onto disk or network share and install it that way.

:) I've been wanting to use one of the waving smilies for ages.

I had spybot on my system already so I scanned and hey presto my search results are back to normal. Thanks so much.
