Recently, Overture announced it was ending its search in a box program. The program allowed you to set up a search box on your website. When someone used it, they were taken to Overture.com to see results and Overture paid you 2 cents.
We've looked for replacements and settled on Findwhat. They will pay significantly more than the 2 cents and it looks like a good deal for us. However, Findwhat and the other 2nd tier PPC's only show their advertisers. They show no results if you search for a term that has no bids.
We are writing some code to take our visitors to another search engine in those situations where Findwhat has no results. Our visitors will wind up on the other search engine's website for the results, so we are not stealing code - just sending them traffic.
My question is, which search engine would you send traffic to? I'm a little annoyed at Google because of the impact their algorithm changes have had on my clients, and the fact that they have lowered the significance of content and increased the weight of links. So I'm looking for an alternative. Teoma? Linksmart? Wisenut? Yahoo? Inktomi?
In your opinion, which search engine gives the absolute best results?

IMO Teoma gives the best results, but it is not big enough.

I agree with OWG. Given the list available and Teoma's current lack of size, I would have to choose Yahoo! They're the next best option in my book at the moment.

You may want to look into some of the metasearch engines like mama.com and so forth several of them offer revenue sharing and advertising options, which I understand is what you are looking for.
