The first article put forwards a solution for a dealing with the suppression list issue (which is a potential killer for the micro business community), while raising issues and is designed get people thinking.
(The whole issue of non-delivery of e-mail given how ISP's are fighting 'spam' is a core question for consumers and business.)
The second article sets out the problems associated with demanding e-publishers who run "affirmative consent" mailing lists and use good practice to manage their list to maintain suppression lists.
