Thanks for the feedback. My main reason for making to the post was to get a feel for what is most important to internet marketers. Some say it is site design and layout while others insist SEO is the key. The "jury is still out" on this one and it's probably just a combination of both but the information posted here was very useful.

I'd burn as much as necessary to maximize my site's conversion rate. Then I'd hire Karon (Copywriter) to rewrite the copy for SEO purposes, Ed (Haystack) to get an Adwords campaign going, and Debra (Magnolia) to work on links. Naturally we'd do the keyword research ourselves.
