Does having Google Adsense adverts on your website help in the SERPS.
Does it hinder you for other search engine results if they see Google Ads on pages

Adsense is totally independent of the ranking algo, and that was right from Google themselves.

If you put AdSense on your page Googlebot may pay a visit sooner, but again I would not know if this is a rule...

I have read this idea in several places but personally, I do not place any weight in it (correct me if I am wrong, people). The bot for Adsense is an entirely different one than the Googlebot. Speaking personally, I have not noticed any particular rush to index pages when Adsense is added to a site.

Regular, fresh content is more likely to get you indexed more often.
