this past couple of weeks my google ranking has been doing some loopy stuff going from 4 to 5 and back and fourth like that. its happeneing with a bunch of my sites latley. ?

does this happen when google is reorginizing its database? and will my ranking be a 4 or a 5 when its done?

I am sure someone will be by to remove those like links shortly as per forum guidelines...

when you say ranking from 4 to 5 I am going to assume you are talking about PageRank...and yes the last couple of days PR has been being updated on a rolling basis...many people are reporting fluxuations...

it should settle in a bit.

Hi Joe

I have noticed PR fluctuating on all of my sites as well....from 3 to 4 and then again 3.....I wonder what's happening...hope it soons settles down!

I haven't really noticed it at all. But my sites have finally gotten their pagerank and I'm glad it finally came!

This kind of fluctuation is often called a "googledance" and is very common. You can find lots of threads here regarding it.

Bottom line: don't worry about anything until it settles down (usually 3-10 days).
