Does Google use this counter to rank the page? In other word this counter is among rest 100 factors to rank the page.

BTW where can I find all 100 ranking factors

Thanks advance!

Welcome sonnyyu! :hmm:

Google doesn't give out their over 100 ranking criteria publicly.

I'm not sure what click-through counter you're talking about, could you please be more specific?

If you mean a counter that you might have on your page, then no, they don't pay attention to that, nor your Website traffic in general.

Google Click through Counter:Google Toolbar Click through Counter

http://toolbarquerie...l...nkings.com/

When User visit 'http://www.highrankings.com/' by use Browser with Google toolbar installed. The Tool Bar send 'q=info:http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ehighrankings%2Ecom%2F' and the IP in background to http://toolbarqueries.google.com/.
I guess Google collect the page url and User IP save into Click through Counter

http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ehighrankings%2Ecom%2F is urlencode of http://www.highrankings.com/

Well, I just tried changing the highrankings part of that URL to a domain I run, and I got a "forbidden" error. I won't be trying that again.

Yeah, me too, Bob!

Sonny, I don't know what that data means and how or if they use it.

However, if I was Google, I would use every means possible to decide how to rank sites. If that information provides them with clues about a sites popularity, it would make sense for them to factor it into their ranking algorithm.

In the URL there is 'ch=63144883838'. It is hash key of 'http://www.highrankings.com/'
if you use different url then different hash key is needed. I think there is no nonhacking way to do it.

So Sonny, how are you able to see where exactly they send the info? Seems you know more about this whole thing than we do, so fill us in!

But you need to crack the checksum to automate that, without looking at IE's cache.
