I was wondering which domain name is better for optimization and site recognition.
NewDomainName.com
or
New-Domain-Name.com
(InternetPrivacyStore.com or internet-privacy-store.com)
I thought that first solution would be better, but officials at domain name registration company told me that second solution is more gramatical correct;
Forget about grammar, I am more interested in search engine optimization! Which one is better for you ?
Thanks.

It really doesn't matter from my experience. Google is able to pick up the keywords in NewDomainName.com just as well as New-Domain-Name.com. I would look at it from a usability standpoint. What's going to be easier for your clients to type in?

Welcome Supaca !
I concur with KS Katz. Go with the domain that is easiest for your visitors to use and remember.

Welcome to the board, and I would say going without the dashes would be much easier for people to remember.

which domain name is better for optimization and site recognition.
(InternetPrivacyStore.com or internet-privacy-store.com)
It is depend on which key word(s) you want focus. Say internet, privacy, store then internet-privacy-store.com is better. if focus on key InternetPrivacyStore then InternetPrivacyStore.com is better. if I were you, I will get both domains since these days only cost less $10/yearly per domain and hosting is cheap as well. after got both domain hire pro-copywriter do one site copywrite then translate it to the non reversible language ( i.e. Chinese, japanese...) and translate it back to English. The reason to do this is protect search engine catch you have same content in both site.

Neither domain name would be very good, in my opinion.
What's the name of your company? Internet Privacy Store? If so, it's not a very good name.
I would find a name that is recognizable and brandable, not generic, and then use a domain name to match.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Why is Internet Privacy Store bad name, Jill ?
Have you any suggestion for the Web site name which is selling privacy or security software ?
Thank you in advance,
Alexander
