There isn't really a good section for this question, so I'll stick it in the Pub.

Has anyone else who uses Authorize.net as a gateway noticed any recent flakiness regarding order volumes? I first noticed a strange fluctuation for a couple of days last week, so set up some scripts to record when someone sent a purchase request through a couple of sites.

Some of these purchase attempts are not being recorded at all by the Authorize.net system ! It could be farther downline from them, but my hunch is that it's Auth.net themselves who are causing the disconnect to occur.

I think I know what's happening, and can tell them how to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else using Authorize.net had noticed a sometime decrease in orders before I made a call to them. If it's just me, then I'll need to look at the actual processing bank who handles our accounts. Goodness knows, no matter which I end up calling first, I'm going to be speaking completely over the head of the customer service reps when I start talking about Apache upgrades and Default CharSet's. I'm sure it'll take me hours on the phone to get to a real IT person who will understand it and have the ability to fix it.

So how about it? Has anybody else who uses Authorize.net seen order volumes fluctuating wildly over the last week or so?

Thanks!
