I am building backlinks to my fiverr gigs and I like to monitor traffic source and clicks. However I can't embed Google analytics code into my Fiverr's gig's page directly as I don't own it.

I was wondering if there's any way around this problem? I thought of making an intermideate webpage that will redirect traffic to fiverr, but again worried if fiverr thinks all traffic coming from same IP/site?

Please share your ideas.

A redirect does not carry referrer data in the http header, unless you take specific action to insert it.

what would be best practice to address this? I am not lean toward redirecting if there's any better approach?

Unless fiverr provides a way to add analytics code in, I don't believe there's a way to do it. Redirects won't work as Chrishirst mentioned.
