Could be a variety of factors. Hard to really tell without seeing the site and unfortunately, you cannot get a site review until you are an active member with a minimum of 20 posts. You can create a signature file through your control panel and place a link to your site there. Then someone may be able to take a quick look at it.
Without seeing the site though, I would say the main reason why you aren't "ranking" as you say is that you don't have the best site for that phrase or you just haven't optimized well enough.
One other thing to consider is the competitiveness of the phrase. Do you sell these products regionally or nationally? If regionally, you may want to associate your own regional area along with this phrases. If nationally, then you will have a lot of competition.

Another factor is the time until your website is re-indexed and refreshing the main databases of the search engines, which can take from days to months.

laundrymedia, if you read through many of the other posts around here, and the Tips for Newbies, you should start to get some idea of what you need to do.
If you still need a review once you're an active member here, then feel free to post one. But for now, you have a lot of homework to do to first get some ideas of how to optimize your site.

So, any ideas from those curious members out there?

well, in less than a ten second look. Your site PR is estimated at 0...and there are no backlinks that show up in google (this of course does not mean that backlinks don't exist) but I don't think that you can expect to rank highly for a somewhat competitive phrase with no link building...
try submitting to some directories.
