I had a meeting last week with an organisation based here in Wales (OWG - you know the one!), and I am furious!

I sat there with 2 other people representing 2 other companies (we are trying to form an unofficial partnership), and this bloke completely ignored me and spoke directly to the other two (I set up this meeting by the way).

Then he basically went on to say that whilst they recognise website design, they do not recognise nor support financially website marketing. I mean, how can you have one without the other?

Anyway - on completing this meeting one of the other two people who attended it with me explained that he uses people that he has contacts with via a well known Networking club.

What makes me really cross, is that this organisation is a private organisation, but it acts on behalf of our development agency.

Aaaaaarrgh :yuk: over!

Is it just me, or is it getting cooler in the evenings...?

Yes, these bodies and quangos are a law unto themselves. I actually withdrew from the Merseyside one this year - much to their surprise! - but with the greatly increased amount of paperwork this year, the game just isn't worth the candle.

Hi Brian - it's so maddening isn't it. Especially when you know the service is being compromised!

Ah well - ce la vie!
