Hi All,
I currently have a regular wordpress theme and some of my competition has a mobile friendly site. I was wondering if I should try to install a responsive theme to show on all devices since I know that Google wants the best possible experience for its users or should I just put together a mobile website that will be similar to mine but with redirect my customers to another version of my site instead of the actual one if they are on a cell phone, ipad... Etc. [removed] Etc does any of these methods hurt seo?

You may find this article helpful: http://searchenginel...ractices-123543

Today at SMX Advanced during the iSEO panel, Pierre Far, Google Webmaster Trends Analyst, announced clear guidelines and recommendations on mobile SEO. In short, Google recommends you go with a responsive design when possible, otherwise you can use device-specific HTML but Google asks you to take certain steps to communicate when you are using device-specific HTML.

There are tons of easy to install WP plug-ins that add a mobile friendly style sheet which also detects users on Mobile. Go with one of those.
