Thanks for that, Arman. I knew Teoma didn't have a link: search, so this is a decent alternative.
I noticed something interesting when I used this method to check the backlinks on one of my sites: I got a SERP from the CNN search (which is really Google). Apparently, Teoma indexes searches from other SEs. I didn't know that either.

I knew Teoma didn't have a link: search, so this is a decent alternative
ahhh...no wonder I couldn't get anything like that to work
